Previously named, “Naushehra”, was renamed; Rahim Yar Khan in 1881 by Nawab Sadiq Khan IV of Bahawalpur. Rahim Yar Khan is one of the modern district headquarter cities in the Punjab. One way in which each and every “Superior” can get involved is by attending the special galas which are organized to appreciate growing abilities of students. For this, welcome and farewell functions are arranged, whereby students are encouraged to display their talent and show their artistry through well-conceived parodies, outclass skits, fabulous Mushaira, Qirat, Naat, Symposia and academic quizzes. Amid the company of parents, dignitaries, friends and well-wishers, “Superiors” celebrate the moments unforgettable.

The present age is the age of practical know-how and the College offers an ample opportunity to its students to visit uprising industries and top-class business organizations like Nestle, Packages, ICI, Dawood Hercules, Millat Tractors, Haier Electronics and other leading firms and companies that enhance their practical skills to the utmost.

Foreign Tours

Organized visits to the foreign countries give students a new boost and exposure of the surrounding culture. ‘Superiors’, with outstanding academic background, visit foreign countries like England, UAE and India as special study tours either in summer or in winter vacation.

Pleasure Trips

Seeking a meaningful pleasure is always natural to the human beings. This refreshes the mind, lessens the stress, dilutes the tension, and smoothes out worries. To this end, field tours to Murree, Swat and Kalam are arranged throughout the academic session that break the spell of academic monotony and give a sense of relief from the oppressive class work routine the students observe throughout the session. These excursion tours are greatly applauded by the parents.

Sports Day

There is a broad spectrum of spectacular physical education in the form of indoor and outdoor sports activities. Opportunities for all staff and students are provided to take part in a range of multicolored sports at different levels of ability. The College Sports Network arranges various sports events on every Friday after the academic routine comes to a standstill. Similarly, on every Sunday the “Superiors” are provided the opportunity to participate in various sports events. This whole day sporting routine helps them in wriggling out of tension ridden dish culture that have permeated in our youth. The thunderous sports gala, representing all major sports events, is held at WAPDA Sports Complex amid a tremendous gathering. Superior Group of Colleges boasts of its scintillating distinctions in the sports arena. It has achieved successes in the sports competitions organized by the Board, University and HEC. Also, it intends to provide scholarships and free education to the outstanding sportsmen who strive for the glory of sports.

Cultural Day

One of the most memorable events at ‘Superior’ is Cultural Day when students of all disciplines put on traditional cultural dresses and represent the rich culture of Punjab. Also, Superior Campuses are decorated; they give a patent rural touch of a village, reflecting genuine Punjabi Culture. Typical and traditional Punjabi food is presented to the students and faculty.

Cultural Festival

An important milestone at the beginning of spring season is the Superior Cultural and Festival Show that provides perennial respite, unfolds the hidden talent and nourishes the students, faculties to the heights of delights. This vibrant and memorable event reflects the judicious blend of excitement and entertainment to the “Superiors.” The big event at WAPDA Cultural and Sports Complex attracts thousands of visitors to enjoy pleasantly equitable atmosphere. The ambience, charged with varied programs of aesthetic and social interests, comprises splendid parade, stall-making, camel and horse dances, bangs and dangs of music melodies, and the sumptuous prize distribution ceremonies.

Book Shop

The bookshop offers textbooks, stationery, photocopy, souvenirs, notes and other items to students at competitive rates. A significant population of students witness its utility to all and the courteous shopkeeper feels immense pleasure in serving the sweet customers.

Hostels

Superior Hostels are run by caring professionals. We offer a wide variety of rooms to suit all budgets and tastes including fully furnished, single or shared study bedrooms. The Superior University Lahore Library is an faster growing automated library of Pakistan that has been providing excellent services and facilities to fulfill the information needs of its user’s. The library is equipped with latest technology. It has a collection of over 5,000 volumes. The library is managed by qualified and experienced staff, dedicated to provide high quality innovative services.

The library aims to encourage and support the academic and research activities of Superior faculty, staff and students. Superior College Libraries are geared towards developing reading taste among the students.They have a congenial academic environment. Students have an access to the tremendous variety of textbooks, reference materials, local and international journals, newspapers, magazines and a wide range of books on Commerce, Management Sciences, Information Technology, Islamic Studies, Interpretation of the Holy Quran and other national and international issues. 4:) Get Your Test Card

After the submission of your admission form, you must have to ensure that you get your test card and schedule.

5:) Final List

Check your name in the final list of successful candidates, which shall be displayed on the college notice board on prescribed dates.

6:) Interview & Enrolment

An Interview panel shall conduct the interview of the candidate and also evaluate the candidate’s past academic record. After getting acceptance letter for enrolment from Intervie Panel, the student shall deposit fee within due dates. Admission may stand cancelled in case fee is not deposited in due date.

7:) Payments

Payments shall be made by cash and no personal cheques are accepted. Dues once deposited are non-refundable and non-transferable
