Zaid Hamid has devoted himself to the study of regional and global political events and their implications for Pakistan's security and interests. He pioneered a new trend in currents affairs programming in Pakistan, where he skillfully knitted together the undercurrents of apparently disconnected global events, and built a bigger perspective on the threats that we are facing internally as well as externally and where our true national interests lie.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that it was pleasant to know about Superior University which is not only imparting international standard of education but also playing a vital role in career growth of students by arranging such seminars. He was of the view that Pakistan is facing many national and international problems and one of the major problems is terrorism, which is really destructing Pakistan’s image internationally. He analyzed that it is an outsider who is trying to break Pakistan into pieces but one who is doing this must understand that we will not break our spirit and will rise up with a force of unity. He planted hope in the minds of youth by saying that Pakistan’s future is in the hands of our young generation and our youth is growing well in such professional institutes. Further he added that in the future, Pakistan would be away from all these hardships and would be considered as one of the most developed countries.
