Superior Group of Colleges welcomes Dr. Muhammad Farooq Aslam as Dean Faculty of Engineering
July 17, 2010: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Aslam, a highly disciplined and renowned scholar has joined Superior Group of Colleges as Dean Faculty of Engineering. Dr.
Muhammad Farooq Aslam served for 29 years in the Department of Electrical Engineering, and was a Professor on Tenure Track in UET Lahore. He has been former Dean School of Science & Technology, and worked simultaneously as Chairman Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Management & Technology Lahore.
During his Ph.D Dr. Muhammad Farooq Aslam has specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Electrical Power System Operation. He has developed new techniques for Re-Engineering of the electrical power systems into a large information network for real time distributed economic operation of electrical power systems. Dr. Farooq Aslam has developed a number of case studies and has presented his work in various International Conferences and Journals. A number of research publications are in the pipeline.
With a high spirit that illustrates self-motivation, struggle and originality, he has joined Superior Group of Colleges to pursue research in academics with a methodical and organized approach. Dr. Farooq Aslam plans to do this through a unique blend of strategic and operational planning and appropriate execution of courses.
