Colors of Communication Week
“Colors of Communication Week” is always been taken as most exciting event organized by the Department of Mass Communication Management at Superior University. During this week different events get arranged by the students to enlighten and highlight all types of communication.
In the Colors of Communication Week 2010, an outstanding outburst of creativity was seen in the presentations of the students where powerful ideas were put in tools of mass communication.
Specific colors were given to each day of the week which entire department followed by wearing dresses of same colors in accordance with the particular theme of each day. The week long activities included the first two days for displaying different creative works of art, photography, newspapers, features and advertisements made by the students. Objective of the display was to address the social issues of Pakistan and impart practical knowledge that can make students to feel the reality of their surroundings.
On the third day of the week documentary and film exhibition was launched in which mass communication students came up with their artistic camera-works.
On the fourth and fifth day, the motivated students displayed themselves on the stage. The plays and skits were organized by Superior Dramatic Club thus closing of the week was done with an exciting activity. Formal dinner was arranged by the students of department in which Prof. Mujahid Kamran, Vice-Chancellor P.U appeared as the Chief Guest and highly applauded the students’ thought provoking creativity.
