Colors of Communications by Mass Comm. Department



In October 2009, the Department of Mass Communication came with yet another exciting event of “colors of Communication” week. It was one week of events in which all forms of communication were highlighted.

The Department of Mass Communication Management is known for its unique programs and creative activities. From this particular week they added another feather in their cap by arranging a full week of fun continuously. The world has seen that the department is changing and bringing a positive change in its student’s thinking and importance of communication.

The week was followed by the following schedule.

  • 6th Oct, 09: The color theme was “White”. This was to promote the initiative for the week.
  • 7th Oct, 09: Student displayed different creative work of art, photography, newspapers, features, and advertisements. Wednesday’s theme was Green & Blue. Director Operation, Ch Abdul Khaliq inaugurated the exhibition.  
  • 8th Oct, 09: With the theme of Pink & Indigo, department exhibited the documentaries and films prepared by students themselves. Chief Editor “Daily Pakistan”, Mr. Mujeeb- Ur- Rehman Shami and Dean Social Science, Punjab University, Prof Mughees-ud-din Shiekh was invited as honorable guests. They praised and appreciated the work of students and directed the students about their future exposure in media.
  • 9th & 10th Oct: “Murder He wrote” a mystery theater play by Mr. Haseeb Khan, Program Manager Mass Communication Department. The play was organized by “Superior Dramatic Club” and theme color was Black, Red and White.
  • 12th Oct, 09:  The closing of the week was followed by a formal Dinner given by Mass Communication students with a launch ceremony of “Superior Talk” (Magazine) and a “Year book”. Dr. Mujahid Kamran Vice Chancellor Punjab University was the Chief Guest. It was attended by all the management of Superior College and it was arranged by Students of Mass Communication.
