MOU Signing Ceremony - Tianjin University, China

Keeping our words:  ‘WE EXPLORE THE NEW HORIZON’, Superior moves further for developing its academic ties with top rank universities of the world. Our international partners are now extended from University of The Punjab, Chandigarh, India to University of New Castle, Australia; from Binary University, Malaysia to York St. John University, UK and now to Pearl River College of Tianjin University of Finance & Economics, China.

On October 6, 2009, a delegation comprising of four distinguished guests:  Mr. Zeng Guangsheng, Vice-President,  Mr. Liu Huihua, Director of Department of Foreign language of Pearl River College,  Zhi Yucheng, vice-minister of The Ministry of Personnel 、Vice-Minister of Registrar Office, Ms. Lin Zhiping, Chief Representative in China for the Superior University, Beijing arrived at Superior University Campus, Raiwind. The worthy guests were warmly welcomed by the Superior staff and students.

The formal ceremony was started at 10 o’ clock in the morning with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Mr. Haris and a welcome note by our official spokesman Prof. Haseeb Khan. Our honourable Rector Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdur Rehman thanked and acknowledged the precious presence of the Guests of Honour: Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Dean LUMS, Dr. Shaukat Brah, Zafar Mehmood CEO Punjab China Bureau Chief Minister Secretariat, Mr. Richard, Political Officer, US Consulate, Lahore and briefed them of our visionary mission, values and pursuit of excellence in his speech. He further mentioned our innovative programmes of studies Mass Communication Management, Aviation Management, and PhD in Business Administration and the significance of split degree programme.

Afterwards, the chief guest Dean LUMS expressed his views which were followed by a note of thanks from Prof. Dr. Sikander Khan (Pro-Rector). Later, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan addressed the audience.

Enlivening the tradition, Rector Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdur Rehman presented the souvenirs to the respected guests and these moments were captured in the form of Group Photo. Eventually, Pearl River Computer Lab. was inaugurated by the delegation and the worthy guests were served tea.
