Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal has Joined Superior University
Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, former Acting Vice Chancellor and Registrar of two of the prestigious Universities of Pakistan; University of the Punjab, Lahore and University of Health Sciences, has joined Superior University as a Pro-Rector (Academics). He is known for his immense contribution towards academics and university’s administration. Besides being a great administrator he is also an eminent researcher and renowned scholar.
Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal is the author and co-author of twenty-two books, over 200 published research papers, and 40 PhD students have carried out research under his supervision. In addition to this he has made few important scientific discoveries as well. In recognition of his outstanding contributions in the field of Sciences, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has conferred on Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal the award of “Sitara-I-Imtiaz and “Tamgha-i-Imtiaz”.
With the intentions of making the Superior University stand with the world’s top universities. He is determined to strengthen the academic quality and leading the process of formalization towards the final stage. He will work in close co-ordination with Prof. Dr. Sikander Khan, Pro- Rector (Research and Development at Superior University).
