The University operates through various authorities i.e. Statutory Bodies, entrusted with the responsibility of running and regulating its affairs.

Board of Governors

Composition

The Board of Governors consists of:

  • Chairman of the Company (Chairperson)

  • The Rector
  • Chairman Higher Education Commission or nominee
  • Vice Chancellor of a Public Sector University (nominated by the Patron)
  • Secretary to the Government (Higher Education Department) or nominee

  • Sanctions annual budgets, development plans, and financial statements

Board of Advanced Studies and Research

  • Recommends examiners for theses and dissertations

Board of Faculty
