TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY

Discover your 3C Advantage

Character

Justice, Fairness & Human Dignity — Criminologists work in systems that can deprive people of liberty. This program builds professionals who approach every criminal case, every offender, and every victim with fairness, impartiality, and a commitment to human dignity — understanding that justice systems can perpetuate injustice when practitioners lose sight of their moral responsibilities

Courage

The Courage to Face Crime Honestly — Criminological research sometimes reveals uncomfortable truths about justice systems, police practice, and societal factors that create crime. Students develop the professional courage to analyze crime data honestly, report findings that challenge institutional narratives, and advocate for evidence-based criminal justice reform even when it challenges powerful institutions.

Competence

Multi-Domain Criminology Competence — Students build competence in criminal investigation methodology, behavioral profiling, forensic science application, digital evidence analysis, crime pattern mapping, victimology, criminal law and procedure, and evidence-based crime policy — producing graduates equipped for law enforcement, judiciary, policy research, and rehabilitation careers.
