Superior University’s Azra Naheed Dental College today distributed certificates of achievement and cash rewards among the faculty members under the annual research recognition awards.
Director, Azra Naheed Centre for Research & Development – Mr. Hamid Masood along with Principal and Vice-Principal – Azra Naheed Dental College Prof. Dr. Muhmmad Asif Shahzad and Prof. Dr. Ayma Syed honoured the top researchers at the ANDC. Head of Department of Oral Biology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwaar Alam also received the Research Excellence Award.
Under the leadership of the Rector, Superior University, Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Superior is delivering on the promise of promoting credible applied research by creating a conducive environment for multidisciplinary research for the Superior faculty and the students. This year, the Superior Foundation for Research & Development – SFRD – sponsored over Rs. 6 million – a three-fold increase from yesteryear – in research awards to honour the leading research scholars at the university.
Superior University’s annual Research Recognition Awards were designed to recognize meaningful research and promote research integrity and general academic ethos. The fruit of this labour is that the achievements of the Superior scholars are directly creating a socio-economic impact and supporting policymakers to make welfare-based decisions for the common good.
