As the Director of the Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CMACED), she has pioneered numerous initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and to bring a paradigm shift in mindsets from job-seeking to job-creation. Her vision extends globally as she leads the COMSTECH & Superior University 3U1M Program for the OIC countries, fostering international collaboration and experiential learning.

Dr. Sumaira is also the Convener of the Governor’s Consortium on Entrepreneurship in Punjab, Pakistan, where her leadership drives initiatives to empower young entrepreneurs. She is a Co-founder of Innovation District 92, a platform dedicated to nurturing innovation and startups, having extended her influence beyond academia into the entrepreneurial landscape. As a Business Advisor to the first ever business reality show “Idea Croron Ka” on the national TV, Neo News.

Dr. Sumaira Rehman’s most significant impact is her role in revolutionizing higher education. She introduced groundbreaking initiatives like the Entrepreneurial Teaching and Training Program (ETTP), empowering youth to become job creators rather than job seekers. The Freshman Program under her leadership fosters essential life management skills in students, preparing them for the challenges of the real world.

Another most distinctive and unique initiative is Superior University’s “3U1M Program”, a unique experiential learning framework with an ensured graduate employability as a testament of the fact that Superior graduates are not only academically proficient but also equipped with the skills demanded by the job market. 

Under her transformative leadership, The Superior University has become a hub of academic excellence and entrepreneurial thinking, setting the stage for the institute to become a leading research university of Pakistan by 2028 under her strategic vision “Soar to Roar”.
