The BS Radiation Therapy Technology program at Superior University trains students in the complete clinical and technical scope of radiation oncology — radiation physics, dosimetry, linear accelerator (LINAC) operation, treatment planning systems, patient positioning, IMRT, SBRT, EBRT, brachytherapy, and radiation safety management. Clinical placements in radiation oncology departments of partner cancer hospitals provide hands-on training on LINAC machines and treatment planning systems, with the curriculum aligned with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards.
The multidisciplinary cancer care approach integrates students with oncology, radiology, and medical physics teams — preparing graduates who understand their role not just as technologists but as essential members of the cancer treatment team. The 3U1M model ensures one full year of clinical market engagement before graduation.
