The BS Respiratory Therapy program at Superior University trains students in mechanical ventilation management, pulmonary function testing, spirometry, oxygen therapy, aerosol delivery, neonatal and paediatric respiratory therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep disorders, and chronic disease management. Clinical placements in ICU, CCU, and respiratory wards at CMATRH (600-bed in-house hospital) include neonatal ICU and paediatric respiratory care training — providing comprehensive exposure across all critical respiratory care settings.
The program prepares graduates to manage respiratory emergencies, support critically ill patients on ventilators, and deliver long-term pulmonary rehabilitation — one of the most clinically critical and globally in-demand allied health specializations. The 3U1M model ensures one full year of clinical market practice before graduation.
